Winter is a stillness. A breath held in the dark.
The world quiets, and so do we.
At Queer Shamanism, we gather with the seasons in simple, intentional rituals. These circles invite us to listen closely—
to ourselves, to each other, to what lies beneath.
What to Expect
No ritual is the same; each is shaped by the group and the moment.
In winter, we often work with themes like:
Resting and retreating
Honouring grief or memory
Listening to what wants to emerge
We use therapeutic group processes.
Examples: We might journal, sit in candlelight, sing, lie on the floor, craft together or be in silence.
We might share, or we might not.
There is no performance—only presence.
For Who?
These rituals are for queer folks and their allies who feel drawn to the turning seasons.
You don’t need to be spiritual or have done this before.
Just come as you are, with openness and care.
This is not a fixed ceremony.
Each circle is shaped with and for those present.
