Autumn invites us to slow down, reflect and let go. The changing light, falling leaves and colder winds ask something of us; they call us inward.
At Queer Shamanism, we mark the seasons through small, intentional rituals. These gatherings offer a chance to pause, connect and move through the themes of the moment in community.
What to Expect
Each ritual is different, shaped by the group and the energy of the season. In autumn, we often work with themes like:
Letting go of what no longer serves
Marking transitions or endings
Grounding and preparing for the darker months
We do this using therapeutic group processes. Examples: We might write, move, chant, craft, meditate, sit in silence, or burn things. Sometimes we share stories, sometimes we don’t. It’s not about performance - it’s about presence.
For Who?
These rituals are open to queer folks and their allies who feel drawn to seasonal work. No experience needed. You don’t have to believe anything. You just have to show up with curiosity and care.
This is not a fixed ceremony.
Each circle is shaped with and for those present.
