The sweat lodge is an ancient shamanic ritual rooted in Indigenous traditions. It’s a powerful ceremony that supports both physical and emotional cleansing. In a sealed, womb-like space, we gather, usually in a small group, to sit with the heat of sacred stones. This intense warmth helps clear the body, while also surfacing emotions, blockages, and old energies so they can be released.
During the ceremony, we sit in circle and reconnect with one another, and with the rhythms of the Earth. Through simple rituals, prayer, singing, silence, we create a safe, grounded space for reflection and healing. The heat softens us, opens us, and invites us to return to our own strength and inner knowing.
